Kagoshima Prefecture specifies residents of the United States, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Its announcement requires travel to Japan via Fukuoka Airport and at least one night in Kagoshima Prefecture booked from Klook’s dedicated campaign page.
The announced campaign runs from September 18, 2026, through February 28, 2027, but may end earlier when its allocation is exhausted. Klook describes the benefit as a one-way Shinkansen fare from Hakata to Kagoshima, capped at ¥11,420.
Residence matters here: do not rely on your passport nationality alone. If your nationality and country of residence differ, have Klook confirm how its eligibility check applies to you before booking.
How Many Tickets Can You Receive, and Where Can You Go?
The campaign terms provide one complimentary one-way ticket per guest, based on the verified guest count in the qualifying hotel booking. For two eligible guests correctly included in one booking, that means eligibility for two tickets, subject to completing the required steps and remaining availability. The benefit is per guest, not per room or per night.

Start with the official Kagoshima campaign page. Open the offer terms for your hotel and dates, rather than assuming every property in a general hotel search participates.

Canceling the Hotel Can Also Cancel the Train Benefit
A qualifying hotel booking must remain valid. If you cancel it, obtain a refund through your own action, or change it so that it no longer qualifies, issued complimentary train tickets become invalid. Klook may cancel the tickets or discount codes, or charge the full retail value of rail tickets already redeemed or issued if the hotel booking is canceled.
A refundable room therefore does not mean you can cancel the stay and keep the train benefit. Check the effect on both bookings before making changes. The promotion itself cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
Does the Offer Improve Your Trip?
Compare the total cost of the trip you want: the eligible room, transport not covered by the offer, and your onward journey. A rail benefit is less useful if it requires an expensive room, an inconvenient location, or an extra stop you would not otherwise make.
For a couple, compare the qualifying room price plus uncovered transport with the cost of your preferred hotel and two ordinary train tickets. Use the actual fare benefit confirmed for your booking, rather than automatically multiplying the advertised maximum. An extra night can be worthwhile when it gives you time to enjoy Kagoshima, but the promotion should fit the trip you want.
