Planning to visit Ghibli Park in January 2027? Reservations open on November 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST). You need an advance reservation, so choose your visit date before building the rest of your itinerary around the park.
This is Ghibli Park in Aichi Prefecture, near Nagoya—not the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo.

Check January Closures Before Choosing Your Date
The official January calendar marks January 1–3, 5, 12, 19, and 26 as closed. January 4 is the first scheduled opening day of the year. Do not assume the park will be open during the first three days of your New Year trip.
Listed hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Recheck your chosen date before booking, since the calendar may change.
Choose Your Pass Before Sales Open

Prices include tax; ticket issuance charges are additional. Ages 4–12 pay half the adult price; ages 0–3 enter free. Standard does not include the interiors of Okino Residence, Howl’s Castle, or The House of Witches; separate same-day tickets are limited. Premium includes them.
Choose Premium if those interiors, World Emporium, or Satsuki and Mei’s House are a main reason for your visit. Standard may suit you if the warehouse and outdoor areas are your priorities, but do not build your day around securing optional building tickets after arrival.
Use the Overseas Booking Route
Start from the park’s official overseas ticket page, which links to LAWSON TICKET and Klook. Use those links to reach the appropriate sales route and check the selected product’s conditions before paying.
Convert the release time to your home time zone and prepare a preferred date plus a realistic alternative. If the park is the main reason for adding Nagoya, keep related hotel arrangements flexible until you have tickets.
Premium Holders: Arrive Before Noon
Premium holders receive wristbands at the first area they enter, after staff check the ticket QR code. The named ticket holder and the whole group must enter together, and pickup must be completed by noon—even with an afternoon Grand Warehouse reservation.
For both day passes, enter the Grand Warehouse with your group within one hour after the reserved time; early entry is not allowed. Other included areas have a 4:30 p.m. final-entry deadline. Leave enough time for walking and queues between areas.

Before You Pay
- Tickets cannot be changed, canceled, or transferred under the park’s standard rules. Confirm the date and everyone’s availability first.
- The named ticket holder must attend. Bring a passport or other accepted identification, as ID may be checked.
- Arrange luggage storage before your visit. Large bags and suitcases are not allowed, and lockers in the surrounding park are limited.
